About you:

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our team to create groundbreaking digital experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating human-centered design. As a UX/UI Designer, you will work closely with colleagues from our offices across the United States, Pakistan, and Colombia to create world-class products. This position will be a remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. and will be working U.S. hours.

The position requires exceptional design thinking and expertise in designing digital product solutions. This role will solve complex design problems in unique and innovative ways and convey ideas in the form of wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, prototypes, and presentations. This position will be a key member of the design team and will collaborate closely with fellow designers, product owners, developers, and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create UX design deliverables, including competitive research, user personas, journey mapping, iterative wireframes, prototyping, and information architectures
  • Create UI visual designs, branding, and other design artifacts in order to develop intuitive, beautiful, and functional products that address user and business needs
  • Lead discovery workshops to gather input from clients and product stakeholders about the product needs, business needs, ecosystem, features, and user expectations
  • Continuously collaborate with client, product, and development teams to ensure designs meet all use cases and to identify the needs and/or gaps in requirements
  • Develop and maintain a design system library
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to prototype to final hand-off to development
  • Oversee usability testing, user research, and evaluate user feedback
  • Provide deliverables under tight deadlines and with input from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Test and iterate rapidly as ideas emerge and priorities change during the project
  • Present your design decisions in front of stakeholders and clients
  • Collaborate with a global team on varying time schedules

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in graphic design, interactive design, or visual design, or equivalent creative work experience
  • 1–3 years of experience designing for mobile and web, including responsive design
  • Highly skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
  • Ability and talent to produce wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and written documentation using modern design and prototyping tools
  • Experience with journey mapping, feature mapping, and user persona creation
  • Working knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design standards, and design libraries
  • Passionate about design and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional portfolio, a strong sense of design, an excellent sense of design aesthetics, an eye for detail, and a respect for brand integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to present and articulate design decisions in a purposeful and thoughtful way
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
  • Be a team player, build positive relationships, and have a high degree of personal integrity
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative design team environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized, and experienced in managing multiple projects and tasks
  • Experience working at an agency, working with multiple clients concurrently, or handling several complex projects simultaneously is preferred
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing
