UX Research Intern

Job Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic User Experience Research Intern to join our UX Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting user research, and helping to inform product decisions. If you’re a creative, analytical problem solver who’s excited to make an impact on the user experience we’d love to hear from you. This role is part time with an expected hours of 15-20 per week.What You Will Do

• Responsible for uncovering customer insights, conducting user research, and helping to inform product direction
• Collect customer feedback and insights to inform product decisions
• Synthesize data and distill complex research findings into actionable insights
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Analyze customer behavior and preferences to identify areas of improvement in the user experience
• Create presentation materials to share research findings with stakeholders
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to develop user-friendly experiences

Qualifications

Must have:

• Examples of training, education, or work in a related field
• Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
• Good time management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to plan and arrange activities
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Good verbal and written skills
• Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task

• Previous work experience
• Examples of qualitative and quantitative research skills
• An understanding of user-centered design principles
• Passion for improving the customer experience
• Ability to synthesize data and distill complex research findings into actionable insights

The posted range for this position is $20-$23/hr which is the expected starting pay range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
