Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for various digital and print media. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to our company's branding efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and strategies
- Create visual assets for websites, social media platforms, advertisements, and other marketing materials
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
-Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
- Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logo and website with software
- Working with different content management systems
- Creating SNS postings, flyers, and brochures related JKWG
- Design in house marketing material as required – digital & hard copy flyers, website ads, presentations
- Work closely with a group of highly motivated, unique and fun team of marketing experts
- Perform Illustration - Create illustrations and infographics for use in emails, social media, and displays.
- Create and send out weekly newsletter and promotion emails
Requirements:
-Two year post secondary degree/diploma in graphic design or comparable program
-1-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to create social media graphics, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and brainstorm and mock up design ideas
- Ensure all creative work is of the highest quality and reflects brand standards
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for web design
- Solid understanding of digital design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with sketching and visual design techniques
- Experience in logo design and branding
- Knowledge of Figma or other design collaboration tools is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Experience with Figma, front end or UX design is asset
