Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer at Molten Cloud, you will play a crucial role in crafting intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience of our product. Working closely with our product and development teams, you will have the opportunity to influence the design direction and contribute to the success of our platform.
As a UX/UI Designer, you will join our product team in the following areas.
- Contribute to the design, architecture, research and development of Molten Cloud’s core platform and applications
- Interface with customers to gain a deeper understanding of media industry workflows
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Work closely with the Head of Product on bringing Molten Cloud’s product vision to market
- Collaborate with the business and engineering teams to bring your designs to life
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across the product.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design to drive innovation and improve design processes.
Technical skill set:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Python, Javascript, HTML and CSS is a bonus.
