As the UX/UI Designer, you would lead the user experience and visual design for Croptimistic’s website, mobile, desktop and web app platforms. Your goal is to improve the quality of the user experience, aligning with our core values to offer unrivalled service to the users of our systems. You will support the development team in creating specifications, wireframes, and digital assets to develop easy-to-use and modern software.


Ideally you will be based in Kelowna, BC or Saskatoon, SK, but all Western Canadian applicants will be considered.


Key Accountabilities

  • Design and develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for mobile, desktop, and web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Design and create visual assets, including icons and images, tailored to specific project needs
  • Manage the company website
  • Create graphics to be used in our marketing materials that are cohesive with our company brand
  • Create content for social media and marketing materials, including capturing high-quality photos as required
  • Create and edit materials for internal training courses
  • Continuously collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving user needs
  • Stay current with industry trends, conduct research, and share knowledge with team

Requirements

  • Strong collaborator with ability to work within a team to innovate solutions
  • Proficient with wireframing, graphic design and UI/UX
  • Knowledgeable of latest web trends
  • Creative with ability to think outside the box
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with webinars would be advantageous
  • Diploma and/or degree in a related discipline such as design, computer science, UI/UX
