5 days a week in the Boca Raton office
As a UX designer intern, you learn about the duties of a UX designer, applying your knowledge as you assist in completing projects. Your responsibilities include supporting the UX Lead as they work to make products useful and usable for consumers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Studying UX/ UI design, web design, graphic design or equivalent relevant major
- Experience with Sigma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Learn how to identify and understand a target audience for a specific product
- Learn to create a user-friendly experience for consumers while using a product
- Available to work for at least 10 – 20 hours a week during business hours
- Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, preferred
- Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
- Grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate solutions to teams and stakeholders
- Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Creativity - Creative abilities allow you to create products that attract consumers
- Research - It's important to have strong research skills, so that you can collect and organize data about consumer preferences and competitor's brands and products.
- Self-Motivation - Work independently when performing research and creating designs, so it's important to have a high degree of self-motivation.
