Job Summary

At Prove, Product Design is a new, prioritized and fast-growing practice within our Developer Experience team. UX Designers will take a critical and important role in improving developer and end user experiences as they leverage Prove products. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, devising solutions and craft customer journeys for intricate design challenges in close collaboration with your product team. You will create both functional and appealing features that make our identity solutions easier for developers to integrate to drive product adoption and client retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply user-centered design principles to improve the product workflow and expand functionality of our customer-facing products.
  • Collaborate with designers, product, product marketing, and engineering to understand design needs.
  • Gathers requirements from users and stakeholders and helps define information architecture.
  • Generate and explore multiple potential solutions, and know how to identify the right ones.
  • Visualize design concepts through user flows, prototypes, low/high-fidelity mockups, and wireframes using Figma.
  • Support, refine, and expand our component-based design library within Figma.
  • Work closely with developers to transition designs smoothly and ensure delightful user interaction.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Possess over 18 months of experience as a UX/UI/Product designer, ideally focused on product design.
  • Strong portfolio of design projects that highlights ability to navigate in ambiguity.
  • Excellent UX problem-solving; ability to create efficient solutions for complex user journeys.
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
  • Ability to identify and understand user expectations, frustrations, and use reasoning to develop solutions to user-needs.
  • Proficient in Figma.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in agile teams and with cross-divisional stakeholders.
  • Can present, adapt, and convey ideas to different audiences; strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Can prioritize, think critically, and see the big picture.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Can self-manage and prioritize across multiple projects/deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; can give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Flexible and able to adapt in a complex product space.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
