Job Description

We’re looking for a talented User Experience Designer to create amazing experiences on our Data, Edge and Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for understanding users, an interest in solving complex design problems, and the ability to collaborate across teams. You will join a small but mighty team focused on our data, Edge, analytics, and AI products.

Essential Functions:

  • Passionately pursue an understanding of our users, their goals, environments, and pain points
  • Transform business requirements, user research and user feedback into simple, modern and delightful user experiences
  • Assist in and apply user research through the entire product lifecycle
  • Translate research into site flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Collaborate across teams and products to build consensus on design direction
  • Seek to understand how each design decision fits into a broader ecosystem of product offerings
  • Communicate design decisions and design validation to peers and partners
  • Give and receive design feedback to improve our team’s quality of design work
  • Contribute, improve, and promote our design system, standards, and processes
  • Keep informed of latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and methods to support the work of the User Experience Design Team
  • Learn and understand the wildly complex & fascinating domain of industrial automation
  • Keep informed of industrial automation trends and competitive software product offerings

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in cognitive or behavioral science, human factors, design, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience and expertise.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in user experience design.
  • Design experience in product development
  • Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable user experience design skills with a strong portfolio of work
  • Proficiency with Figma and Miro
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Advanced degree in cognitive or behavioral science.
  • Experience with internationalization and cross-cultural design
  • Experience with geographically distributed development teams.
  • Experience in industrial automation domain.
  • Co-op or internship within software development group, with experience in interaction/user experience design.
  • Designing for cloud or web applications and experience with SaaS applications is a bonus

 

The base salary compensation range for this role is $63,040- $78,800 USD with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our company benefits can be found at raquickfind.com
