The User Experience Researcher conducts usability testing and user research across Camping World Holding's digital products that span multiple industries (insurance, publishing, RV Sales, outdoor retail, and ecommerce). This position helps drive revenue and ensure the online experience of browsing RVs, accessories, outdoor gear, campgrounds, and insurance products are as easy and intuitive to use as possible by providing customer feedback through a variety of testing and research methods and delivering actionable insights and study findings. Reporting to the Enterprise Director of UIUX, the UX Researcher will plan and conduct tests/research using a variety of methods and tools on the live site, simulations, and comps. The types of research and results will provide insight and direction to the business, design, and development teams and generate a better understanding of the Camping World customer.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, product, and marketing colleagues to understand business needs and design appropriate research studies to generate focused insights.
  • Design and conduct user research studies, including usability testing, click testing, surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and concept/prototype testing.
  • Foster collaboration across design, development, and business teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform execution.
  • Partner with Digital Analytics to create comprehensive and coordinated research recommendations that triangulate data from different sources/methods.
  • Cleverly deliver research findings with strong recommendations.
  • Lead digital research efforts with direction from the Director of UIUX
  • Set and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
