Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and developers to translate concepts and ideas into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the user experience across our web and mobile platforms to drive engagement and customer satisfaction. As a UI/UX Designer at soNomad, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our Insurtech company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to understand business goals, user requirements, and technical constraints.
- Design and develop intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our web and different applications, adhering to best practices in UI/UX design.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across different platforms and devices.
- Implement front-end code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) based on design specifications and collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct usability testing and user acceptance testing to validate design decisions and iterate on improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design, and apply them to enhance our products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and engaging promotional materials, such as landing pages and email templates.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to established standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and projects you have worked on.
- Proficiency in UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other ones.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Solid front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure inclusive design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance creativity with practicality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design ideas effectively.
