About PlayMPELocation: And-Co Office - near Cardero St & W Georgia St, Vancouver.

At PlayMPE, we wake up every morning with our hearts beating fast, excited and driven by the knowledge that we're transforming the music world. We're obsessed with our customers and helping artists distribute their music easily. Because of our obsession, we're continually looking for ways to solve problems through design. That's why our products - Caster, Player, and MTR - continue to resonate with so many people in the industry, including Universal and Warner.

---> About the team

We're a small but mighty team of designers and product managers who work to deliver amazing customer experiences for our products (Caster, Player, and MTR). We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about user experience, research, design, and creative problem-solving. Someone who is self-motivated, a team player, and a proactive member of our team to be able to support us with multiple initiatives and products.

If you are a doer, with passion for design this opportunity is for you.

We work in a fast-paced environment. Not only will you work across multiple products, but you will also be part of multiple conversations and ideas.We trust our team, so your manager will define the direction, the PM will define the requirements and characteristics of the solution, but we trust you to bring the best design solution. And when we talk about a design solution, we expect you to think about the user, business, the product, and the development team so we can all win.Creativity is a must. We often encounter complex problems that will require hundreds of hours of development time, so we want to work with team members who think outside the box to evaluate potential simpler solutions. Because progress is better than perfect, and testing an idea is the first step to success.Continuous improvements: When big ideas are added to our roadmap, we start building a simple solution or MVP to test it and improve it over time. So think big, future-proof your work, and be open to potential small solutions that can be tested.Day-to-day: The day-to-day is balanced between meetings and design work, and you work very closely with the product manager on a daily basis.Objectives and priorities: On a monthly basis, objectives and priorities are discussed and defined so that you always have clarity on what's next.We love to understand the problem: Rooted in design thinking, we focus primarily on solving the problem, so you and the PM often spend a lot of time defining the problem.Meetings and productivity: We try to avoid spending too much time in meetings. We work asynchronously a lot and have defined a few team rules and habits that help us stay productive over time.Gather feedback and work with multiple stakeholders: We are a very collaborative team. Designers often run feedback and stakeholder sessions to ensure our solutions consider all use cases and internal limitations and preferences.Keep work and decisions organized always. As a collaborative team, your work has to be easy to find and understand, so organizing your work is essential.---> About the opportunityWe are looking for a UX/UI Designer/Product designer.
