One customer, one family, one community at a time.We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Designer to join our Summer Internship Program at Ria Digital.Responsibilities

  • Master File Cleanup: Regularly organize and maintain the master file for our mobile app. This file serves as the mirror of the product in production and acts as the source of truth for all our designs. Your task includes ensuring that this file is up-to-date and accurately represents the current state of the app, helping to facilitate consistent and accurate design across the product.
  • Competitor Analysis and Reporting: Regularly conduct and update competitive analysis, focusing on identifying design patterns, features, and trends in the remittance sector. Generate weekly reports on these findings to inform and inspire new ideas for product innovation, user experience enhancements, and strategic design decisions.
  • Product Improvement Exploration: Utilize data analytics and user behavior tracking tools to identify opportunities for enhancing our product.
  • Amplitude: Analyze user behavior data including funnels, drop-offs, and conversion rates, particularly in our primary 'send money' flows, to find areas for optimization and enhancement.
  • LogRocket: Review recorded user sessions to detect patterns, identify flaws, and rectify usability issues. The insights from these user interactions will be instrumental in improving the overall user experience and the efficiency of our product.
  • User Testing: Assist in planning, conducting, and analyzing user testing sessions. You will be directly involved in gathering user feedback and interpreting it to improve the product.
  • Designing User Flows: Depending on the complexity, design user flows to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Design System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the design system to ensure consistency across different parts of the product

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Interest in product design and user-centered methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the design, product, and engineering teams.
  • Well-organized and able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experienced with Figma, understanding of all of its features and functionalities.
  • Curiosity and a critical thinking mindset are highly appreciated.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and human-centered design.

Benefits

The hourly pay range for this internship in Colorado is $22 - $25.
