As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in designing intuitive and visually appealing “big data” enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs, define design requirements, and create elegant and effective user interfaces. Your expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, and visual design will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences and driving customer satisfaction, whether they are first time non-technical users or data scientists.Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Partner with product managers to gather requirements and data to understand user needs, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Define and develop user flows to guide the design process.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and provide design guidance and support to developers, QA, UX writers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of designs.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs based on user insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in user experience design and apply them to enhance the product's usability and visual appeal.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a user-focused mindset
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides and design documentation to ensure design consistency and scalability


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of product design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating your craft and application of user-centered design process, including discovery, interaction, prototyping and visual design skills
  • Passion for designing complex workflows, data visualizations and data-centric desktop applications
  • Experience with marketing technology or complex B2B/Enterprise products a plus+
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and information architecture
  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar software
  • Proactive communicator and excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present complex topics and justify design decision to stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail


Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to commit to a hybrid work policy and work 3 days in office 2 days remote weekly in the Mountain View, CA office. Relocation not supported.

Compensation Range$91,100—$113,900 USD
