Docker is a remote first company with employees across Europe, APAC and the Americas that simplifies the lives of developers who are making world-changing apps.  We raised our Series C funding in March 2022 for $105M at a $2.1B valuation. We continued to see exponential revenue growth last year.  Join us for a whale of a ride!

Join us on a whale of a journey! Docker’s mission is to provide a collaborative app development platform of tools, content, services, and community for dev teams and their managers. Our vision is to increase the time developers spend on innovation, and decrease the time they spend on everything else.

Your Role

As our Product Design Intern, you'll dive head-first into the heart of developer experience, where your work will be seen and felt. From day one, you'll be:

  • Learning: With mentorship from design leaders and access to cutting-edge tools, you'll sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge base.
  • Innovating: Encouraged to think outside the box and challenge the status quo, your fresh perspective will be your superpower.
  • Collaborating: Encouraged to connect with professionals across functions,  your contribution will help bridge the gap between design and technology.

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Fine Arts, Industrial design, or other related field.
  • A portfolio showcasing UX design skills and artifacts, including journey maps, workflows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology.
  • Understanding of UX research methods and usability testing techniques.
  • Keen interest in expanding knowledge and a strong enthusiasm for diving deeper into complex space.
  • Always aiming to see and create design solutions that make a big impact.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
