Suzy is excited to offer a 2023 Summer Internship beginning May 30, 2023 through mid-August. Each intern will participate in a group project to present to the company as a team in August. Interns will have the opportunity to apply to our associate role. One intern will be selected for the role and will take on a one year rotation with different departments.

As a Product Designer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the design and development of our company's products. You will work under the guidance and mentorship of the product design team to help drive the design process and contribute to the design team's efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and a strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design. We’d appreciate a passion for technology and a collaborator/team player.

Responsibilities

• Learn and contribute in creating and maintaining a design system and language
• Conduct and learn user research and perform usability testing
• Learn overall product design process, which will include creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Work closely with the product design team and cross functional teams to ensure that the products meet the needs of the target audience and align with the company's design principles

Qualifications

• Experience with Figma or other similar tools (ie: Sketch, Adobe XD, etc)
• Experience in designing usable interfaces
• A design portfolio showcasing design principles for web or mobile platforms
• Passionate about utilizing creative design to improve the everyday user experience.
• Currently pursuing or having relevant degree in Design

Benefits:

• The target base compensation for this role is $15/hr.
