Locality is looking for a Full-Time Junior Graphic Designer to support our marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in the field of graphic design.  

 

  • Collaborate with the senior designer to develop creative concepts and visual solutions that align with brand guidelines and objectives.  
  • Assist in the design and production of various Locality branded marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, print collateral, presentations, and website assets.  
  • Help maintain and organize digital asset libraries to ensure efficient workflow and asset management.  
  • Produce custom illustrations and icons as needed for various projects and adapt and modify existing graphics to meet project requirements.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure consistency of brand identity across all design projects
  • Stay up to date with industry design trends, techniques, software tools, and best practices in graphic design and digital media.  

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.  
  • 0-2 years of experience of professional graphic design experience is preferred.  
  • A portfolio highlighting creative design work and proficiency in relevant software/tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and PowerPoint.  
  • Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.  
  • Detail-oriented with an elevated level of accuracy and organization.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.  
  • Familiarity with web design principles and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).  
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.  
  • Experience with digital photography is a plus.

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary of $50,000-$65,000. (dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).       At Locality, we believe our biggest asset is our people.
