Our team is growing. We’re looking for a passionate, curious and versatile designer to join our creative team. This is a paid internship opportunity to assist with an extensive range of projects and mediums. At the end of the internship term, there is the possibility of transition into a full-time or permanent part-time position.

We are Studio MLM, a full-service creative agency located in downtown Menomonie, WI. We assist businesses & startups amplify their brand by analyzing their customers entire experience from product to web. We are creative thinkers, inventors, problem solvers, storytellers, collaborators, foosball champions, brand ambassadors, product designers, and communicators. We’re a blended creative team for hire with an all hands on deck attitude. We like to blur the lines between branding, product innovation, strategy, and digital applications. Role Description

This is an on-site (with hybrid opportunities) 25-40 hours per week Design Internship role at Studio MLM.

You are a passionate, curious and versatile designer. You are just as comfortable designing for screens as you are for printed material. You flourish in situations where you are empowered to find solutions to creative problems. You are a detail-oriented person who understands the value of brand and believes cohesion is key. You’re comfortable storytelling and communicating design decisions. You’re a team player and you thrive o of collaboration, discussion,

and creative partnership. You have a strong portfolio of work across multiple platforms and a desire to expand into new ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general day-to-day office tasks as needed to assist team workflow.
• Collaborate with the design team on various design projects, including branding, web, marketing materials, social media content, and more.
• Assist in the development of compositions, layouts, and visual assets for print and digital media.
• Support the team in brainstorming, research, and creative problem-solving for client projects.
• Help maintain the agency's digital asset library and ensure files are organized and up-to-date.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and provide design input.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of design principles such as composition, typography, and color theory.
• Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Photography / videography experience
• Experience building Wordpress websites
• HTML/CSS comprehension
• Understanding of basic product design processes
• Animation (2D or 3D)
• Industrial designers with a strong graphic design background should also apply!
