We are seeking an Associate Experience Designer to join our team. As an Associate Experience Designer, your role revolves around crafting user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with the goals of the product or service. You’ll support the team in the creation of documentation, ideas, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes. We are looking for an individual passionate about the intersection of creativity and technology. Someone who stays informed about emerging trends and shifts in the technology landscape, adapt strategies and processes to maintain a competitive edge and delivers cutting-edge digital experiences. We are looking for a continual learner who is on top of the rapidly evolving digital field.Responsibilities:
- Works with internal team members to support the creation of compelling, insight-driven websites and applications.
- Supports and helps out in any way possible - learn, observe, support.
- Documents project requirements, understands gaps that may introduce risks and seeks out SMEs to assist in closing gaps
- Collaborates with UX, design, and technology to understand documentation needs
- Possesses a foundational understanding of HTML and basic web principles to ensure design concepts are technically feasible and effectively translated into functional development
- Interprets brainstorming or other collaborative meetings into synthesized documentation
- Demonstrates information architecture and interaction design skills necessary to support client work.
- Assists in the creation of deliverables such as sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Contributes to cross-disciplinary idea generation and co-creation sessions.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills including presenting findings and work
Qualifications:
- Degree in user-centered design, interaction design, human-computer interaction or industrial design preferred
- Degree in a related field, such as graphic design, web development, communications, business, or architecture.
- Training, conferences or certificates in Experience Design related fields
- 1-3 years experience or some previous work experience (internship or other) in a related field (design, copy, account)
- Newer to Experience Design and trying to learn the fundamentals of the craft - absorb everything and continue to build skills
- Previous agency experience is a nice-to-have; passion for all things interactive is a must
- Capable of quickly learning how to create UX artifacts and deliverables.
