A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for our mobile application, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging user experience.
- Design intuitive user interfaces that align with our brand identity and adhere to industry best practices.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs, ensuring optimal user satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of the latest mobile design trends, emerging technologies, and industry advancements, and apply them to your design work.
- Assist in maintaining design guidelines and contribute to the development of our design system, fostering consistency across our mobile app.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts.
Requirements
YOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE TO HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field from a design school is strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in mobile app design, or relevant coursework/project work during your education, with a focus on creating intuitive user experiences.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your mobile app design projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail, creativity, and usability considerations.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile design best practices.
