Jr Product Designer

What you will be doing:

• Own the CX from beginning to end and ensure product/feature is built to spec and achieves project goals.
• Own the end-to-end design proposals and plans for highly strategic and complex projects – from IA to wireframes to user flow to high-fidelity mocks to prototypes and everything in between.
• Propose compelling design and feature directions, addressing identified problems and opportunities
• Be a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiences. Build relationships and communicate effectively with local and remote cross-functional teams.
• Set a standard of operational excellence by driving the design side of projects extremely effectively through strong project management, clear communication, and goal setting.
• Validate ideas throughout the lifecycle of the project by interviewing/surveying customers directly, incorporating insights, and sharing insights back to the team.
• Collaborate with development, product management and operations teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product vision and help visualize stories
• Deliver a variety of outputs that facilitate the design process including rapid prototypes, concept sketches and storyboards and take it all the way to high quality deliverables for scale production
• Iterate and critique own work and work of others on the team to craft the best design solution for a given problem.
• Think through edge cases and deliver detailed UX specs to engineering for implementation.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in designing and shipping an end-to-end product with complicated flows, multiple scenarios and edge cases
• Familiarity and experience using Figma
• Ability to provide design variations and rational your design choices
• Ability to organize and communicate your thoughts and motivations with different audiences
• A keen eye for visual UI details
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
• Self-motivated and able to efficiently run a project without close supervision
• Love to discuss design in group settings; participate in design critiques and reviews
