Ultimately, we envision a world that cultivates the full potential of every child. At Cortica, every team member is instrumental in helping us achieve our mission!

Cortica is a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering a unique, multi-specialty approach to the treatment of pediatric neurodevelopmental differences. We serve a variety of patient populations including individuals with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, anxiety, speech and language disorders, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, genetic conditions, and more. Our care model, driven by insights and technologies from emerging neuroscience, brings together clinicians from a range of disciplines to design and deliver comprehensive care to children. Because the heart of Cortica’s mission is direct patient care, the skill and compassion of our staff are crucial to achieving extraordinary experiences and outcomes for the families we serve.

We believe a great culture attracts great people. We also believe that great culture and great people working together can change the world. Our hopes and dreams are bold and ambitious. What makes you suited for the role:

You believe that technology can make life better for patients and healthcare providers.  You love to delight others by helping them solve problems through technology, making the complicated simple, and connecting their needs to solutions in a positive way. What you will be doing:

  • Own the CX from beginning to end and ensure product/feature is built to spec and achieves project goals.

  • Set a standard of operational excellence by driving the design side of projects extremely effectively through strong project management, clear communication, and goal setting.
  • Validate ideas throughout the lifecycle of the project by interviewing/surveying customers directly, incorporating insights, and sharing insights back to the team.
  • Collaborate with development, product management and operations teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product vision and help visualize stories
  • Deliver a variety of outputs that facilitate the design process including rapid prototypes, concept sketches and storyboards and take it all the way to high quality deliverables for scale production
  • Iterate and critique own work and work of others on the team to craft the best design solution for a given problem.
  • Think through edge cases and deliver detailed UX specs to engineering for implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in designing and shipping an end-to-end product with complicated flows, multiple scenarios and edge cases
  • Familiarity and experience using Figma

  • A keen eye for visual UI details
  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
