Flatiron School is seeking a part-time Graphic Design Intern to join their Marketing team. This individual will work 10 hours per week under the guidance of our Senior Graphic Designer and Campaigns & Events Director, supporting all areas of Marketing. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our Social Media Manager to develop new creative for scheduled social media posts across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. (~4 hours per week).
  • Partner with our Events Coordinator to develop and/or review creative to support marketing efforts for virtual and in-person events. (~1 hour per week).
  • Partner with our Paid Media team to develop new ads across various media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn and Facebook. (~1 hour per week).
  • Develop email creative for various Marketing campaigns across both B2C and B2B lines of business. (~2 hours per week).
  • Support ad-hoc design requests across Marketing as well as other internal teams (~2 hours per week).

Qualifications:

  • Working towards or completed design certification and/or degree.
  • Experience with Figma and Canva.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and ability to meet deadlines.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach in working across teams.

Expected Compensation:

  • $20-$22/hour
